About airporika.gr

airporika.gr is an independent guide to getting around Greece: trains, airports, ports, the Athens metro and airline baggage rules.

Who runs it

The goal is simple: to help you find, quickly and from your phone, how to get from the airport to the city, where your ferry leaves from or what time the next train goes, in plain words and large text.

Where the information comes from

  • Trains: times come from the official Hellenic Train timetable.
  • Airports, metro and ports: from the official websites of the operators, such as Athens International Airport, OASA, STASY, the Piraeus Port Authority, Fraport Greece, the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority and local KTEL bus companies.
  • Baggage: from each airline's official rules.

Our guides link to the official source and show the date they were last checked.

How we keep it accurate

Timetables, fares and rules change often. We check our pages against the official sources and correct anything that changes. If you spot something wrong or out of date, use the "Report a mistake" link at the bottom of every guide.

Before you travel, always confirm times and rules with the official operator, as last-minute changes can happen.

Independent

airporika.gr is not owned by or affiliated with Hellenic Train, the airports, the transport operators or the airlines. Names and logos belong to their owners.

How the site is funded

The site is free and needs no account. It is paid for by ads and partner links. If you book something through a partner link, for example an airport transfer, airporika.gr may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Partners do not decide what we write, and their links are always marked.
